The pets, also part of the family.

These are the pets..they are loveable and sometimes noisy.Dexter has fabulous eyelashes, Champ is a little deaf but very loyal and Nelly makes the loudest noise, eats broccoli and other veggies.I hope that Nelly's first words will be.."I'm smelly Nelly!".
(I think these photo's will keep me busy for weeks)

By now you know who smelly Nelly is. Posted by Picasa

This is Dexter, better known as dirty Dex..because he is fond of walking under the cars and getting oil stains on his back. Posted by Picasa

This is Champ. He's been with us forever and is getting old. Posted by Picasa

Just keep swimming....

I love that little tune, sung by Dori, the fish in Finding Nemo who has a short attention span.I am proud of my little brother Kern.He is doing great with all the swimming competitions that he takes part in.He gets to travel in South Africa, and who knows, the next Olympics or the one after that.On this day,we fetched Kern at school and headed over the swimming pool where he practices and jumps into the sauna afterwards.Of course, I was visiting and used that as an excuse to take photo's of everything. For more information on the team, www.tygerbergaquatics.com has more on what this group is all about and where their next challenge lies. They work hard and deserve each medal they win.

and it goes on...

The day I met up with Anthea, she had already been to my parent's house to see me.We ran into each other at Tygervalley, where there was a Woolies sale.So I promised to see her later that evening. We attended college together.."good times"..and so it was only appropriate that the college photo's came out and we could laugh about our time there.Anthea now lives in London with her hubby Franklin and Thea.I don't know when I'm going over for a visit.

Anthea and a frazzled looking me.This was on day two of seeing people and shopping. Posted by Picasa

From the city that rocks.

I had to start somewhere and that was in the order in which the photo's were taken.Desiree is one of my best friends and she has been nagging for pictures,so here's the first lot.ha ha.

Jason..cute, 2years old and a bright spark. He has a funny way of pronouncing 20,"twennywennywenny"-well something to that effect. My good friend Desiree is his mom-she didn't want her pic taken because.."I don't look right". Posted by Picasa

This is Jason's dad, Jacques in uniform. He loves shin ramyeon and was happy about that gift. There's a Korean store in Observatory's main road, for future supplies. Posted by Picasa
